The **Surging Sparks** set has officially been revealed! As previously announced, the set will be released on November 8th as our **SV8** set.
The set description is as follows:
Terawatts of electricity rain down on a tropical paradise, setting the stage for the super-charged Pikachu ex with its powerfully crushing Topaz Bolt attack! Wielding the power of a Stellar Tera Pokémon ex, it lights up the shoreline, where a parade of dragon Pokémon appears, led by the gigantic Alolan Exeggutor ex! Archaludon ex and Latias ex round out the horde, while new ACE SPEC cards and other new Pokémon ex provide surprises. Electric currents crackle and dragons roar in the Pokémon TCG: Scarlet & Violet—Surging Sparks expansion!
In this expansion, players can collect and battle cards themed around the Terrarium — an artificial paradise first introduced in **The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero Part 2: The Indigo Disk DLC** for the Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet video games.
Surging Sparks will feature over 250 cards, including:
- Eight ACE SPEC cards
- Nine Stellar Tera Pokémon ex and nine Pokémon ex
- 23 Illustration Rare Pokémon
- 11 Special Illustration Rare Pokémon and Supporter Cards
- Six hyper-rare gold-etched maps
